Isolating potential threats
The SY-Interlock is an independent hardware that is combined with Synel's access control system, and complements Synel's various access control solutions.

The SY-Interlock controller regulates access to a closed chamber with two doorways, where only one chamber door (or more, by cascading) can be open at a time.
When SY-Interlock controller receives a request to open a door, it checks whether the other chamber door is open. Only if the other chamber door is closed does the SY-Interlock controller permit access to the chamber and opens the door.
If the other chamber door is open, the SY-Interlock controller does not permit access to the chamber and does not permit opening the door.
It is possible to cascade several units to monitor lock chamber with multiple outlets (more than two).
