Synel are proud to have partnered with NUSA to provide a Biometric Student Registration System which interfaces to both Biostore and SIMS. The system comprises of 70+ Biometric Synergy terminals to control student registration along with  the Synel Edureg system allowing staff to monitor the whereabouts of all students throughout the academy.

The Nottingham University Samworth Academy (NUSA) is an exciting new secondary school for Bilborough, Nottingham.
 
The Academy embraces all the latest technologies such as:
 
  • Suites of Apple Mac computers, PCs and video editing equipment,
  • A recording studio,
  • A 218-seat state-of-the-art lecture theatre,
  • A suite of music technology rooms,
  • An Internet Café, and
  • Excellent Sporting facilities including a fully fitted multi gym and an imaginatively designed fitness trail.  

David Harris, Academy Principal, invited Synel to provide a system which would fit the exact requirements of the academy regarding the latest technology Biometricnottingham university samworth academy principal hardware and software. 

The system needed to interface into SIMs and also utilise the biometric information already within Biostore. The success of this system integration is now fully apparent and the partnership between NUSA and Synel has proved a great success.

Andy Greenhough, Assistant Principal, stated: “The Synel Edureg system allows the staff to accurately track students throughout the day and also during after school activities”.  Andy praised Synel for working alongside NUSA to provide a system which now gives accurate management information which was previously unavailable.
