All software systems require a certain amount of personal information about employees in order to operate. Synel software offer a simple standard employee file as one option, or a user definable employee file with over 100 customisable fields.

Synel software solutions have "built in" data export and Import facilities. Any stored data can be exported in ASCII format. This specific functionality enables our software to interface to any third party solution that supports the import and export of data. Typical applications for import and export are: payroll systems, HR, Access control, ERP/MRP, Word or Excel or other graphical reporting software. This functionality enables the simple movement of information between systems and removing the need to manually compile data for reports or payroll.

Our software comes equipped with a standard suite of reports essential for employee management. These standard reports include: Payroll, Timecard, Exception, Working Time, Statistical, Attendance and Balance Report. Our report generators enable the collected data to be displayed or printed in any format required. With our MS-SQL solutions organizations can use their standard SQL reporting tool to interrogate the stored employee data. We can offer single or multi user versions of the software. Multi user functionality allows multiple users to access the software simultaneously across the company Network. Single user allows only one person at a time to access the software.

All Synel T&A solutions can include a comprehensive Job Costing / Time Costing on job functionality. If your requirement involves collecting the amount of time employees spend on various projects or tasks you can use our job costing module. Our software can cost to a maximum of 5 levels (customer/order/item/part and process) with an unlimited number of records. Within the reporting suite you will be able to analyse projects, employees, departments and measure variances to planned time, cost or resource. Our job costing also enables the accurate monitoring of work in progress (WIP).

Synel T&A solutions can include an Access Control module, with security grouping, time zone operation and multi level access. The module also includes its own transaction reports held in a separate database. This function allows the assigning of values of credit / debit to an employee, then monitoring and reporting that balance through time, typically used to track holiday. A typical employee may accrue 1.6 days of holiday for every month worked. In this scenario the system will automatically credit the employees holiday "account" with a predetermined amount every month. The system will also allow for adjustments such as time in lieu or other adjustments. We can even send these balances to the terminals for the employees to view the data themselves. Balance Tracking can record and monitor many types of balance such as sickness, overtime etc… Using the balance report it is simple to manage all your employees’ balances.

The Lone Worker Protection System identifies who is on site and where. It provides employee warnings for the last persons on site and the user can define a minimum staff level. The system also sends automatic alerts via e-mail and texts "missing man".
