St. Angela's Ursuline | Student Attendance System

student attendance system at st angela's ursuline

St. Angela’s is a Roman Catholic School built in 1862 by the sisters of the Ursuline order, inspired by the vision of their founder and our namesake.

St. Angela’s is a multi-ethnic, voluntary-aided Technology College in the London Borough of Newham, one of the most socio-economically disadvantaged areas in the country. More than 1400 pupils are drawn from across the whole LEA from Canning Town to Forest Gate.

Synel was tasked with helping the school to improve student attendance at the school.

Sandra Brookman, Head Teacher, comments "Recording student attendance has improved greatly since we installed the Synel Falcon4Schools System. We are now able to track authorised and non-authorised absences more accuratley with the fingerprint readers.

The system saves a lot of valuable teaching time and without the need for cards - enrolling the students is fast and easy.

The students love the cutting edge biometric technology of the fingerprint readers and are happy to enrol."
