Al Murad chose Synel to record attendance of employees
Al Murad invested in Synel’s state-of-the-art biometric attendance system.
With the aim to consolidate HR reporting across locations, Al Murad chose TimeLOG Web hosted along with Synel’s latest biometric attendance terminal, Synergy.
Background
Al Murad is one of Britain’s largest importers and retailers of ceramic tiles and natural stone. The Leeds-based group operates from more than 40 stores and 30 franchises in the United Kingdom, and also sells underfloor heating and tile accessories.
Given the number of store and franchise locations, the major challenge faced by Al Murad was to run a Time & Attendance Solution that would be able to manage attendance, holidays and timings of employees in different stores from a single System Admin View, which would be based in Leeds.
This system would need to enable HR managers to manage and control holidays and attendance of employees, but also have a feature that provides consolidated HR Attendance Reporting from all different Al Murad sites.

The Synel biometric system records attendance and presence of any enrolled employee, contractor or visitor utilising one of our MiFare card attendance terminals.
The terminal operates using biometric technology, and the system interfaces with Microsoft Excel. It’s easily possible to use the service to transfer data of hours worked, as required.
The terminal also connects to the Internet utilising TCP/IP connectivity. TimeLOGWeb time and attendance software can be accessed from any Internet-enabled device.
