Synel acquires remote installation access control project in the North Sea

Synel UK recently acquired a challenging access control project in the North Sea for a global energy company.oil drill north sea

Synel UK team installed a series of multi-smartcard readers for IP access control at the muster stations of the drilling and production platform and at the ships that surround the oil platform. In that way the attendance of all the employees is going to be accurately recorded and printed everyday with the aim of to create the Muster report.

The communication between the oil platform and the surrounding ships is made through state of the art UHF equipment and routers. This project illustrates one more time the innovative and bespoke solutions Synel UK is able to provide its customers even in the most challenging and adverse conditions.
