Synergy 5 Fingerprint – built from years of experience
Synergy 5 Fingerprint scanner forms part of the latest generation of data capture devices from Synel. Designed with decades of knowhow in workforce management solutions, this compact and robust unit makes is the ideal choice for even the busiest sites with a high number of active daily users.
An intuitive user interface on the biometric finger print scanner makes it easy to navigate and quick to select the desired action such as clocking in or out, registering breaks, and choosing activities; as well as performing employee self-service functions including requesting leave and checking balances
Available in 25K templates, fingerprint enrolment can be performed either on the device itself, or remotely using an optional USB scanner that connects to your computer. Once a user is enrolled, their templates can be automatically sent to all other devices on the network allowing any other authorised device to be used. In addition, a built-in reader enables Mifare, Proximity, HID, and HID iCLASS card/fob options.
Fingerprint templates are stored safely and securely as proprietary algorithms. No images are captured, and the algorithm cannot be used to recreate an image of the fingerprint. GDPR compliance is assured.
Authentication is performed on the device itself so if network connectivity is lost it will continue to operate as normal and simply upload captured data once connection is restored. What’s more, in the event of a power outage it’s back-up battery will keep the device operational for up to 2.5 hours.
Synergy 5 Fingerprint can be used as part of Synergy Workforce, your complete workforce management solution from Synel, and is also compatible with a growing list of third-party platforms that demand the very best in data capture performance. In addition, with Synel’s Synergy Connect service, integration with new platforms can be achieved simply and quickly.
