Synergy Face data capture devices
Synel’s Synergy Face is a compact, easy to use capture device that brings facial recognition to your time & attendance solution. Synergy Face can store up to 4,000 employee face templates and features high-sensitivity dual cameras and built-in infra-red for accurate capture in low-light conditions.
With facial recognition biometric technology, your employees simply need to stand in front of the camera to identify themselves. Facial recognition templates are securely stored as an algorithm and only used for the identification of employees across Synergy Face devices. To satisfy stringent privacy policies, no actual images of a face are stored, and it is impossible to construct data from the algorithm back into an image. Recognition is performed in an instant and enrolment of employees can be performed at any Synergy Face device across your estate and will update all the others via the network.
Truly touchless
Synergy Face can be configured to operate as ‘recognise and go’ which can be configured to clock employees in and out for shift start and end simply through recognition each time the employee approaches the device. Break rules can also be set up when used in conjunction with Synel’s TimeLog Web workforce management platform. There is no need to press any buttons or have any physical contact with the unit itself. This makes it a hygienic and germ-free solution and suitable for use across virtually any industry.
Synergy Face can also be used with contactless IN and OUT buttons, enabling employees to confirm their desired action without physically touching the device.
Using in-built card technology
Synel Synergy data capture devices can be specified with a host of touchless card reader technology, such as Mifare, HID and iClass, making it possible to employees to present their card or fob to the unit to clock in and out.
Synergy Face can also be set up to be used with both facial recognition and card/fob as dual-factor authentication for enhanced security.
‘Present and go’ can also be configured so that no physical buttons on the data capture device need to be pressed. It is also possible for rules to be set so that breaks can be recorded when used in conjunction with Synel’s TimeLog Web workforce management platform.
