Synergy 5 Face – quick and easy facial recognition
Synergy 5 face recognition camera brings facial recognition options to the latest generation of data capture devices from Synel. Authentication is fast and accurate thanks to dual IR and white lighting, making it suitable for use in challenging lighting conditions – even complete darkness.
An intuitive user interface makes it easy to navigate and quick to select the desired action such as clocking in or out, registering breaks, choosing activities; as well as performing employee self-service functions including requesting leave and checking balances.
Available in 20K templates , enrolment is performed on the device and templates automatically sent to all other devices on the network allowing any other authorised device to be used. Once enrolled, an employee simply needs to approach the unit and identification happens automatically in under a second. A built-in reader also allows Mifare, Proximity, HID, and HID iCLASS cards/fobs to be used.
Face templates are stored safely and securely as proprietary algorithms to ensure GDPR compliance. No images are captured as part of the enrollment process, and the algorithm cannot be used to recreate an image of the person enrolled. In addition, Synergy face recognition camera comes with touchless capability, meaning they can be configured so that users do not have to touch the unit at all.
Authentication is performed on the device itself so if network connectivity is lost it will continue to operate as normal and simply upload captured data once connection is restored. What’s more, in the event of a power outage it’s back-up battery will keep the device operational for several hours.
Synergy 5 Face can be used as part of Synergy Workforce, your complete workforce management solution from Synel, and is also compatible with a growing list of third-party platforms that demand the very best in data capture performance. In addition, with Synel’s Synergy Connect service, integration with new platforms can be achieved quickly with minimal effort.
