Synergy 10 Reader – all about experience
Synergy 10 Reader forms part of the latest generation of data capture devices from Synel. As well offering all that you would expect from a Synel data capture device, the task management software brings an enhanced user experience for employee self-service and time/activity costing thanks to its large format screen, which improves productivity and significantly reduces administration time.
Ease of navigation is assured through an intuitive user interface, making it simple to quickly select their desired action such as clocking in or out, registering breaks, choosing activities; as well as performing employee self-service functions such as requesting leave or checking balances.
Available with a choice of built-in Mifare, Proximity, HID, or HID iCLASS readers, enrolment can be performed on the device itself or via an optional USB reader that connects to your computer. Once a user is enrolled, their templates can be automatically sent to all other devices on the network allowing any other authorised device to be used. Card management can easily be performed via your chosen workforce management platform, such as Synergy Workforce
Authentication is performed on the device itself so if network connectivity is lost it will continue to operate as normal and simply upload captured data once connection is restored. What’s more, in the event of a power outage it’s back-up battery will keep the device operational for over 2 hours.
Synergy 5 Reader can be used as part of Synergy Workforce task management software, your complete workforce management solution from Synel, and is also compatible with a growing list of third-party platforms that demand the very best in data capture performance. In addition, with Synel’s Synergy Connect service, integration with new platforms can be achieved simply and quickly.
